Blanc: Matuidi can reach double figures

The former national manager believes his player is underrated, insisting his recent goalscoring exploits are just the start after an impressive start to the new season
Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc says midfielder Blaise Matuidi is capable of scoring 10 goals this season.
The French international, 28, has already found the back of the net twice in victories over Ajaccio and Montpellier, helping the club take an early lead at the top of Ligue 1.
Matuidi, who arrived in the capital from Saint-Etienne in 2011, is normally best known for his defensive work but Blanc believes he is capable of reaching double figures this term.
"You see his progress because he scored two goals, but if he didn't then you wouldn't. If he hadn't you wouldn't be talking about him," Blanc told reporters.
"He has the physical qualities to get into the penalty area and i've always said he is a player who could score 10 goals a season.
"Even when other players are tired, he has the physical strength to still to push on and play to his maximum."
